he roomJust spent my first time here! This place is BEAUTIFUL. The water is clear, clean, and green in some places others you can see straight to the white sandy bottom. The was is not lukewarm or too cold, it's just refreshingly cool. There are tiki huts with tables for setting up lunch. The restaurant is large enough for an outdoor wedding for another event. I would even consider it for seminar or business lunch meetings. It is covered, has a large white screen at one end of the room for projection. There are also rooms for two or family suite. This is a laid back, go back and forth to the water, the restaurants and so on is a place for wearing you swimsuits, cutoffs, sandals. I am from south Florida, USA. I spent many, many, many, years zipping and hour or so down the Florida Keys to places like this. If you want to really experience that kind thing, this is absolutely the place to go to. Also, I would recommend it for a short mini-vacation for your honey or wife. A small apt, steps away from the beach is only 1000 peso/night. This includes air cond, Sat TV. I have seen them they are just right for you and your SO. And that price is for 2 not for each! Wow! The slightly larger ones for the family are 1300 peso/night. I have to say again for my foreign friends if you want to disappear into an island paradise, just like you have seen in the movies or your own mind, you have to try a visit here. Caution: if you are the type of person who must dress formally for meals (dinner), want an air conditioned inside fine dining experience I don't think you would enjoy this place But, if you like sand between your toes, hanging out in your swim gear, eating casually in an outdoor covered setting with beautiful sunrise, sunset view this IS the place.
